Sexual Funk

Yep, sad I know...but I've been in a funk lately with sex and writing.  As you know I'm working on my first full length novel.  This one will not be a series like Mysterious Physique.  Anyway, to get me in the mood I popped into the local porn shop last weekend to pick up some "research." I bought a Hot House vid called Reckless.

Oh my, is it ever hot!  I'm not sure about the reckless part, but big beefy guys going down on each other, kissing, and plugging each other's asses works for me!

My point (and I do have one) is that I'm just now approaching the first sex scene in my new novel, and believe it or not, it turns out to be a straight scene between a man and woman (is there any other kind?). I didn't want it to be, but when you start writing the characters just sort of take over and tell their own story.  Strange, isn't it?  I don't plan on prolonging it because the ultimate sexual tension in the book is indeed between two men, but penning this hetero scene is just odd for me.

Many of you who have read my work might remember a straight scene in part 3 of Mysterious Physique.  There's even a hint at it on the cover. If you read it, did I do straight sex justice?  Let me know what you liked...or didn't like.

So, that's that....back to writing.....or "researching"...  ;-)

Some Strange Eden Update

I ordered some adjustments to the front cover after seeing my proof copy, so add another two weeks to production before they get that done and send me another proof copy. In the meantime, I sent my first proof to a reviewer friend so he can go ahead and give it a read. But I think the paperback will now be available by the end of August or first of September. Fingers crossed! At just over 70 pages, it's a quick read. Everyone loves a quickie, right?

More Hot Construction

I'm having work done on the house this week.  While it's hot here in New Orleans and the workers are all wet and sweaty, they remain focused on the work at hand.  That's too bad...  I'm still enjoying the eye candy though.  I have the perfect seat from a window on the third floor that looks down over their work space.

New Cover for Some Strange Eden Paperback

Here's the cover for the paperback edition of Some Strange Eden which is due out early August.

It's pretty much the same as the current E-dition cover, except for a change in font and color of the text. 

Wouldn't you love to be out picking apples with this hot stud?  I know what fruit I'd want to take a bite out of!

This book only contains 7 stories, and it's only about 90 pages long.  But what does that mean?  It's affordable! More so than a cheap date...and much hotter. And with that, the price of the E-dition will be dropping upon the release of the paperback edition.

Currently, I'm at work on two new projects.  I hope to release my second paperback, Some Strange Eden, later this year.  It is currently only available on Kindle.

I am also currently working on what will be my first novel.  It will be released in both paperback and Kindle probably at the same time.  It will not be a series like my Mysterious Physique stories, but rather a full novel.
