Sexual Funk

Yep, sad I know...but I've been in a funk lately with sex and writing.  As you know I'm working on my first full length novel.  This one will not be a series like Mysterious Physique.  Anyway, to get me in the mood I popped into the local porn shop last weekend to pick up some "research." I bought a Hot House vid called Reckless.

Oh my, is it ever hot!  I'm not sure about the reckless part, but big beefy guys going down on each other, kissing, and plugging each other's asses works for me!

My point (and I do have one) is that I'm just now approaching the first sex scene in my new novel, and believe it or not, it turns out to be a straight scene between a man and woman (is there any other kind?). I didn't want it to be, but when you start writing the characters just sort of take over and tell their own story.  Strange, isn't it?  I don't plan on prolonging it because the ultimate sexual tension in the book is indeed between two men, but penning this hetero scene is just odd for me.

Many of you who have read my work might remember a straight scene in part 3 of Mysterious Physique.  There's even a hint at it on the cover. If you read it, did I do straight sex justice?  Let me know what you liked...or didn't like.

So, that's that....back to writing.....or "researching"...  ;-)
